Kids-Korner.com Members Services Shutting Down

Due to lack of usage we are considering shutting down the members section of Kids-Korner.com. We would still continue to offer links and games but will no longer support the members section of the site with things such as kwik notes, speakout and the chatroom. There are too many other great sites out there for kids that have these functions built into them already, We appreciate everyone who has been a member of the site and invite you to continue using the Guest section of our website for your favorite links and games. If we do decide to shut down the members site, we will proceed as of April 1, 2008. If you have any concerns on this, please feel free to contact me via webmaster@kids-Korner.com Thank you for being a member, unfortunately we just don't have the time to administer the site any longer. Kids Trivia Contest

In conjunction with The River 105.1 in Niagara Falls, Canada - Kids-Korner.com is pleased to sponsor Kids Trivia during the week of September 18 - 22/06. The contest will run at 7:40 AM each morning, one lucky contestant will be required to answer the trivia question and the winner will receive a $25.00 Toys R Us Gift Card courtesy of Kids-Korner.com If you are in the area, make sure you listen in and call in to participate in Kids Trivia!

Contest Winners

Hi All,

Sorry.. we should have posted these right after we awarded the prizes. The Ultra Secret Pen Pal contest was a huge hit, we received several entries in all age categories. Winners were chosen by Swing Set Press (makers of the Ultra Secret Pen Pal sets), we were able to get a hold of most of the winners and their prizes have already been sent out.

Speak Out!

Speak out will be disabled on our site due to abuse. Unfortunately due to the increasing number of postings that were in violations of our rules, we have removed this section from our site. Our volunteers have to manually go through each posting and it was becoming too large of a job to monitor constantly. Unfortunately, Kwik notes and the Chatroom are also in jeopardy of being shut down due to constant abuse, if this happens, then we will probably be removing the site from the Internet as we don't foresee anyone wanting to use the site without the interactive aspects to it. Please be sure to follow our rules at all times on the site and if you see anyone breaking our rules, make sure you let them know what the rules are so they can abide by them in the future. I would hate to see this site get pulled down because of a few bad apples.
